Engaging Pasifika Cultural Competency Programme
This is a closed workshop specifically for Ministry of Health-funded disability support service workers in Palmerston North.
Le Va’s Engaging Pasifika programme aims to ensure a mental health, addiction, disability and public health workforce that can better engage Pacific clients, families and communities at the critical first point of contact, ensuring the best possible outcomes for Pacific consumers and their families/aiga. The programme is blended learning, so you will be required to complete a pre-workshop module (EP Online) before you come to the EP Live workshop. On completion of EP Online and EP Live, you will be offered online modules following the live workshop to further enhance your understanding of engaging with Pasifika people and their families. For more information check out the Engaging Pasifika web page or register your interest with us via email.
