Working together #CollaborACTION

We collaborate with groups, communities and passionate people where we have meaningful actions and productive outcomes for our Pasifika communities. This is what we call collaborACTION.

All our work is co-created with the people who use services, our cultural knowledge holders and expert thought leaders.

We also strongly believe the solutions lie within our own communities, so you’ll see us walk alongside churches, sports clubs, education centres and relevant groups with large Pasifika populations to ensure the right knowledge, skills and information is reaching the right people at the right time.

Our funding

We are honoured to be funded by the Ministry of Health and working in CollaborACTION with the national mental health and addiction workforce centres Te Pou (mental health), Matua Raḵi (addictions), the Werry Centre (child and adolescent mental health) and Te Rau Matatini (suicide prevention).

Our formal agreements

We are also honoured to uphold formal agreements with the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner, the Ministry of Education in Auckland and, internationally, with the National Suicide Prevention Tonga Committee (Tonga) and National Rugby League – NRL (Australia).

And it’s our absolute privilege to partner with ACC Injury Prevention, Ministry of Education, Auckland Council, and Pasifikology. Le Va also endorses and is a member of the Equally Well collaborative; working together to improve physical health of people who experience mental health and addiction problems.
