How to apply for Le Tautua
To join Le Tautua 2026, please complete and submit an application by click the ‘Apply now’ button below.
You can register and create a login to our application platform, then submit your Expression of Interest.
Please also attach the following documents:
- An up-to-date CV
- A referee letter from your employer supporting your application
- Briefly outline your reasons for applying to Le Tautua (max. 150 words)
What to expect
Throughout the programme, participants will engage in an interactive learning experience that combines Pacific knowledge, contemporary leadership approaches and practical application.
The programme includes opportunities to:
- learn from experienced Pacific leaders and sector experts
- participate in facilitated talanoa and peer learning
- reflect on personal leadership strengths and aspirations
- strengthen communication, collaboration and relationship-building skills
- explore leadership through Pacific values, culture and identity
- build confidence to lead within organisations, communities and systems
- develop practical leadership strategies that can be applied immediately in the workplace.
Eligibility
Applicants should:
- identify as Pacific
- be working within the mental health, addiction, health, wellbeing or social sectors
- have approximately 2–5 years of experience in a formal leadership role, including leading a team or people
- demonstrate a commitment to serving Pacific communities and strengthening Pacific leadership
- have the support of their employer to participate in the programme (where applicable)
- be available to fully participate in all programme activities.
