A foundational level training for anybody working within Pasifika Mental Health and Addiction.
Our trainings are fully funded for eligible participants within Pacific Primary Mental Health and Addiction services (specifically those who fall under the Pacific Access and Choice umbrella). Standard fees apply for those who do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Is this training for you?
The training has been developed for individuals who:
- work in any role within Pasifika Primary Mental Health and/or
- support Pasifika people to manage challenges related to mental health, addiction, and trauma.
Description
Healing Centred Care for Pasifika participants will:
- deepen understanding about trauma
- learn about Pasifika perspectives on trauma, and the impact trauma has on Pasifika communities
- gain practical skills in healing-centred approaches
- practice self-care to foster workforce wellbeing.
