Le Va – helping change the way we see people with disabilities

Le Va is pleased to continue to work towards achieving the outcomes of Faiva Ora – the national Pasifika disability plan for 2013-2016.

As part of our work in the disability sector, we talk to lots of Pacific people who have a disability, live in their homes, take part in their communities in the same way other New Zealanders do – and love their lives.

Click on this page to listen to our latest testimonials from:

  • Pati – “just a poor humble Samoan boy”
  • Fatima – a proud mother, grandmother and career-woman
  • Va – 19 years old and loving life
  • and from a group of Pacific people about why the real disability is a closed mind
