Le Tautua Matau Mana Moana

Since 2008, Le Va has delivered Le Tautua – a unique leadership and management programme tailored for emerging Pacific mental health and addiction leaders.  This year, the Le Tautua alumni programme has been refreshed to focus specifically on Pasifika cultural leadership – integrating core Pasifika concepts into leadership.

#POLYFEST 2016

Le Va was out in full force again this year at #PolyFest16, with volunteers to help ignite our communities and create that change. It was also an opportunity to engage tens of thousands of Pasifika young people and raise awareness about the right information, resources and services available for them to access when they need it.

Engaging Pasifika: update!

The recent More than numbers survey carried out by Te Pou rated Pacific cultural competency training in the top three training needs for mental health and addiction services across New Zealand. Le Va’s  Engaging Pasifika cultural competency training programme ensures that our workforce and services are equipped with the right knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively engage with Pasifika service users and families.
