Description

We are walking alongside Pasifika youth and communities to equip them with the skills and tools to have respectful relationships that are embedded with Pasifika values.

Upstander is a violence prevention workshop that aims to support youth and communities to take a stand against actions that don't fit with our Pasifika values.

Workshop objectives:

  • Understand what an Upstander is
  • Learn how being an Upstander is linked to our Pasifika values
  • Learn about the steps involved in upstanding
  • Equip yourself with a variety of tools to Upstand

Upstander is a FREE, digital (or face-to-face), 2hr workshop. (Refreshments will be provided)

Is this workshop for you?

The Upstander workshop has been specifically developed to meet the needs of our youth who:

  • Are aged between 18-24 years old 
  • Identify as Pasifika
  • Want to find out more about Upstanding and how to take actions that reflect our Pasifika values
  • Want to explore why violence is not our culture
