Serena Curtis

Serena Curtis is the General Manager Pacific and Community Capability Programmes at the Ministry of Social Development and she’s worked for MSD since 2019.

She’s Samoan from the villages of Fasito’outa Samusu and Tanugamanono) and she also has Māori whakapapa from Ngati Ranginui as well as European descent.

Prior to MSD she worked in health and had her own business specializing in strategic operational management, programme project management, business and systems analysis, and youth mentoring.

She’s been involved in Whānau Ora, Ngā Vaka o Kaiga Tapu to name a few and she’s also into sports.
