Hailing from the villages ‘Eua, Ma’ufanga and Lapaha, from the Kingdom of Tonga – His work currently centres on our Pacific peoples’ experiences, wit, nuance, and universality.

Kasi emphasised the significance of empathy when discussing important values, but he also highlighted compromise as a vital aspect of empathy and compassion.

He believes that even when agreement isn’t possible, showing compassion and empathy by meeting others halfway is essential. Kasi actively puts this principle into practice by making a conscious effort to genuinely listen when someone is sharing with him.
