Felicia Manase

Service Facilitator, Te Whatu Ora Health NZ

Felicia is of Samoan and Tuvaluan descent. She lives in Porirua, Wellington with her family. She has a beautiful 6 year old daughter (who keeps her own her toes).

As someone with a lived experience Felicia views things from a different perspective. Felicia has worked in the disability sector for nearly 12 years both in community and Government. She is also passionate about equality, equity and ensuring disabled Pacific and Māori voices are at the highest level in every guide.

She is currently working for Capital Support, Te Whatu Ora as a Service Facilitator.

Felicia has been and still is a member of the Faiva Ora Leadership Group where she brings her wealth and personal experience into the group.

Felicia lives with the motto #noboundaries and #pushingbarries, especially after completing the New York marathon in 2015.

‘O le ala i le pule o le tautua‘ (the pathway to leadership is through service) is common Samoan proverb that is an important life and practical value for my own workforce practice.
