
Dr Melissa Cragg
Manager - Service Commissioning Oranga Hinengaro, Hauora Māori Services Directorate, Te Whatu Ora – Health NZ
Melissa Cragg has dedicated over 20 years to improving health outcomes for whānau, holding key roles across the health sector, including the Senior Project Manager for the Mental Health Directorate at the Ministry of Health where she was involved in the procurement and commissioning of the Kaupapa Māori and Pasifika Access and Choice services.
Currently, she is the Manager of the Oranga Hinengaro Service Commissioning Team for the Hauora Māori Services Directorate at Te Whatu Ora – Health NZ. Dr. Cragg earned her doctorate in Māori Studies from Massey University, focusing on the application of custom in contemporary Māori resource development. Based in Wairau, Blenheim, she continues to champion service design and delivery that contributes to positive outcomes for whānau.
