
Dr Alexander Stevens II
Senior Māori Lecturer, AUT & Indigenous healer
Dr Alexander Stevens II has a clinical background in the recovery, intervention, and prevention of sexual and physical violence, as well as in mental health and addictions.
He is also an experienced professional in public health, focusing on holistic approaches to healing. In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr Stevens II is an indigenous healer, practising Rongoā, a Māori traditional healing technique.
Currently serving as a Senior Māori Lecturer at Auckland University of Technology (AUT), Dr Stevens II is also the CEO for StandingTallNZ.org, an organisation dedicated to working with Māori and Pacific men affected by childhood sexual violence.
Alongside his clinical work, he possesses expertise in indigenous digital content creation and web-based design.
