Kia ora, my name is Antonia Dickie, and I am honoured to be part of the Le Va LifeKeepers suicide prevention team as the project coordinator.
I whakapapa to Ngāti Porou on my mother’s side, and to Mutalau, Niue, on my mother’s Niuean side. On my father’s side, I come from the village of Iva, Savai’i in Samoa, and I am also of European descent from both sides of my whānau.
I am the eldest daughter and proud sibling to my two younger brothers.
I bring experience across coordination, communications and stakeholder engagement, with a background in major community-focused and organisational environments.
Alongside my professional experience, I have completed a Bachelor of Communication Studies, majoring in Public Relations at Auckland University of Technology.
I am passionate about people, storytelling, fostering connection and creating spaces where everyone feels supported, valued and heard.
