Amituana’i Brooke Brake

Brooke’s aiga hails from the village of Laulii in Samoa, Norfolk Island, and England. She lives in North Waikato with her husband and 4 beautiful children.

Brooke is a registered senior social worker and works as a clinical leader for CASA – a national suicide prevention and postvention service and also provides clinical supervision. She has a background in Child and Youth Mental Health and more than 20 years’ experience on the front line including service design and delivery in South Auckland. Brooke is an experienced and skilled professional in suicide prevention, postvention and bereavement, including being part of mortality review committees and conducting organisational reviews.

Brooke is also a research assistant for Te Ata Hāpara Centre of Suicide Prevention Research University of Auckland.
