Advanced search tips
Advanced search helps you to refine your results by adding filters to the search keywords. This is often needed for search queries that use common words where a lot of unwanted results may be returned.
Use one or more of the boxes above to add some rules to your search query.
For example, to search for a learning module that you know is connected to the Let's get real programme and deals with Maori, simply searching for "Let's get real Maori learning module" would return a large number of resources all which contain some of these words.
Using Advanced search, you could use the keyword "Maori" the exact phrase "Learning Module" and check the box for "The Library" and only three results are returned - the top one being the Let's get real Working with Maori Learning Module.
