Futures that work
Le Va is committed to enhancing the quality of healthcare services for Pacific peoples. We'll achieve this by growing a qualified, flexible and sustainable Pacific health workforce, and supporting the mainstream health workforce to be more responsive to the needs of Pacific people.
We believe in futures that work for Pacific communities and ensuring we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right jobs.
The Futures that Work programme has a pipeline approach from training right through to employment, tailored to the needs of our communities. It’s about:
- providing financial support for people enrolled in a health-related qualification
- ensuring successful advancement in study and career
- being job-ready and transitioning to work.
