Emerging leaders
Le Tautua emerging leaders 2010
Applications for the Le Tautua emerging leaders 2010 programme have now closed and we have selected 16 people to join the 2010 cohort.
This programme was developed to enhance and develop leadership and management skills for new and emerging Pacific leaders in the mental health and addictions sector.
The 2010 Le Tautua emerging leaders programme will focus on:
- discovering the role of culture in management and leadership
- developing the personal foundations for leadership
- executing and delivering positive change through project management
- learning skills required to enact a leadership vision
- discovering attributes for effective management in Pacific health services
- becoming skilled at effective communication and presentation
- the role of cultural competency
- developing and utilising leadership networks
- judgment - informed decision making and judgment calls.
The 2010 cohort will be involved in two two-day workshops to be held on 19-20 August, and 25-26 November, with a group assignment between the workshops. View the highlights of the 2009 workshops.

- Pat Lam – Blues Super 14 Franchise Head Coach.
