Value and tenure of a Le Va mental health and addiction scholarship
The maximum value of a Le Va mental health and addiction scholarship is 100 per cent of the applicant’s course fees unless the applicant applies for less. Where an applicant applies for other sources of funding (other than Studylink), the Le Va mental health and addiction scholarship must be the primary source of funding.
Payment of the award will be in two semester fee instalments. Payment for the second semester fees will be contingent of an applicant providing proof they passed all their papers in semester one.
Le Va mental health and addiction scholarships are:
- for one calendar year only
- non-deferrable
- only for the year of study to which the application applies
- only for the qualification/courses of study as set out in the fees invoice submitted with the application form.
Scholarships that are not claimed and accepted by applicants within two weeks of notification will be forfeited.
Payment of course fees will only be made directly to a tertiary provider as per the fees invoice submitted.
All applicants must participate in the Le Va mental health and addiction scholarship academic coaching and/or professional development programme.
All coaches approved by Le Va will be paid based on the submission of quarterly reports. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure the reports are submitted by the due dates.
