2009 regional fono
Le Va has now completed the Drua fono series. Individual fono were held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The focus of this year’s fono series was to share and exchange knowledge, innovative ideas and other effective initiatives. The overall objective was to support the regional improvement and enhancement of the workforce.
Le Va took on board the advice and feedback given at the last Drua fono series. Pacific services and providers from each region took an active and prominent role this year. Dr Monique Faleafa also presented a detailed report to the three regions on the outcomes of Le Va’s work to date.
