Le Va is proud to be valued as New Zealand’s national hub for Pasifika mental health workforce development.
Le Va’s workplan is our response to the priorities and leading challenges set out in the Ministry of Health’s Te Tahuhu: Improving Mental Health 2005 – 2015.
We enhance the quality of services for Pacific families by developing the workforce in the areas of systems transformation, recruitment and retention, training and development, leadership, translating knowledge into action, and innovation.
These strategies are presented under four main categories of work aligned with the Le Va symbol.
